This bitter melon is a dwarf variety of its larger cousin.
The same shape, the same seeds just size is only a fraction of the larger one.
Bitter melon is reputed to have great health & medicinal value
It is a far more prolific bountiful breeder than the larger one
Use it the same way as you do the larger variety.
I use the fleshy pulp to flavour my alcohol & add that slight bitter taste to my alcoholic mix.
I like to mainly use Indian tonic water for my alcoholic concoction, adding some of the bitter melon to the blend with a twist of lime or kumquat citrus.
What I do not consume fresh, I dry the flesh for future use
